    Rastelli’s Meats and Seafood Reviews

For our Rastelli’s Meats Reviews, we ordered two Faroe Island Salmon filets, two Porterhouse steaks, and six Steak Craft burgers.

All of Rastelli’s proteins are blast frozen for freshness and will arrive frozen. They believe that by blast freezing proteins the microbes that would normally break down the fresh protein are inactivated, preserving the current state of freshness.

In addition, they vacuum seal all of their products preventing air and moisture from being trapped inside which causes freezer burn (aka frost on your protein) and allows your protein to stay in the freezer for up to one year without compromising quality.

    Rastelli’s Faroe Islands Salmon Filets

Rastelli's Meats and Seafood Reviews - MealFinds (5)

We love to support sustainable fishermen and fishing practices and couldn’t wait to try Rastelli’s Faroe Islands Salmon filets. These Salmon filets are meaty, full of flavor, and really good for you.

They are also GMO-free and antibiotic-free and sustainably raised in free-flowing pens in the North Atlantic Ocean. That means they are good for the environment too!

We marinated our salmon filets in an Asian sesame mix for 2 days prior to grilling. We grilled them for about 2 min per side and they came out perfectly juicy and delicious.

Rastelli’s Faroe Islands Salmon filets are reasonably priced with 2- 6 oz filets for $15 or 8- 6oz salmon fillets for $59.

    Rastelli’s Porterhouse Steaks

Rastelli's Meats and Seafood Reviews - MealFinds (7)

Everything we tried from Rastelli’s was wonderful, but the star of the order had to be the USDA Prime Bone-In, Antibiotic-Free Porterhouse Steaks.

Each 18 oz steak consists of a strip steak and a filet mignon separated by a T-shaped bone. These steaks are wet aged for 21 days and hand-trimmed to perfection.

These Porterhouse steaks are simply AMAZING! They were a bit thinner than what we usually see in a strip steak or filet but grilled beautifully. They are full of flavor and naturally juicy.

These steaks would be great for any night of the week (Happy Monday!), but would also be perfect for a date night at home or a special celebration.

You can buy 2 18 oz. steaks for $65.00 at Rastelli’s which could easily feed 5 or 6 people.

Rastelli’s delivers sustainably sourced, quality meat and seafood free from antibiotics, steroids, and hormones, from trusted farmers and fishermen directly to your door. They believe in creating partnerships, building trust, and delivering quality products.

From the sustainable sourcing practices of the farmers and fishermen, they partner with, to butchering and processing in a state-of-the-art facility, to the environmentally friendly materials they pack and ship in, they take exceptional care to ensure that every step of their process is done right.

We love that Rastelli’s meat is antibiotic, steroid, and hormone-free and that their seafood is wild-caught or sustainably raised in the wild. Everything that we ordered tasted great, even from frozen. The star of the order was the porterhouse steak and we highly recommend giving it a try for your next date night at home. And while their selection of seafood isn’t the largest that we’ve seen, what they do have is sustainably sourced and high quality.

We also love that you can make a one-time purchase or subscribe. The high free shipping threshold is something that we don’t like as not everyone needs to order $200 in meat and seafood, but you can simply pay for shipping, $10-$25 if you are below that amount.

Overall, Rastelli’s is a great value for the quality. They make it easy to get premium, sustainably sourced meat and seafood delivered to your door for a reasonable price.
