James Lafferty and Alexandra Park’s love story began on a TV set — and they have since played a small screen couple in 2021’s Everyone Is Doing Great.The One Tree Hill alum first crossed paths with Park when he directed a 2015 episode of The Royals (which shared a created team with The CW drama). Lafferty went on to direct four more episodes of the E! series, while his love played one of the lead characters, Princess Eleanor, on all four seasons.The couple have since remained somewhat tightlipped about their romance. Lafferty announced his engagement to Park via social media and gave fans a glimpse at his fiancée’s sparkler.

“Wish. We. Were. Here. 🇦🇺🇦🇺🐨🐨❤️❤️🐨🐨🍺🍺🍺🎺🎺🎺 #pda,” the Ben Is Back actress captioned a sweet photo from a trip to her hometown of Sydney.

The lovebirds teamed up to play onscreen couple Jeremy Davis and Andrea Cooper-Davis on Hulu’s Everyone Is Doing Great. Season 1 premiered in early 2021.

“We share little bits and pieces here and there,” Park exclusively told Us of her romance with the California native. “He’s the only person I hang out with other than my dog, and people are already like, ‘You can’t just post pictures of your dog all the time!'”

When it came to working together on their Hulu show, however, the Home and Away alum said she had no reservations. “We work together on everything. It’s very natural for us and really fun,” she added.

Lafferty gushed over his fiancée’s book, Sugar High, which details her journey with type 1 diabetes. “Congratulations to my better half for this monumental achievement and enjoy your summer beach read friends! 🎉📚🏖♥️,” he wrote via Instagram.

“Happy Birthday to my favorite f--king person in the whole entire world,” Park captioned a series of Instagram photos in celebration of Lafferty turning 36. “I love you more than day 1, 6 years ago. #pda #dreamboat #bff.”

The twosome enjoyed a tropical getaway to Sydney.

Us exclusively revealed that the Waffle Street actor and the 12 Feet Deep actress tied the knot in Oahu, Hawaii.

One month after their nuptials, the newlyweds shared photos from the intimate ceremony via social media. They also confirmed their wedding date as May 23, 2022.

“Happy Birthday to my first husband,” Park jokingly captioned a series of Instagram snaps of her man from their honeymoon. “The 🍎 of my 👁 the 🔥 to my 🕯 the 🧀 to my 🥪 the ❤️ of my 🌎 xoxoxox ily babe.”

Weeks after the pair celebrated their first wedding anniversary, they headed to Monaco to celebrate Everyone Is Doing Great at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival. Park stunned in a green gown while her husband wore a black suit.

Later in the month, Lafferty exclusively gushed to Us about his busy first year of marriage with Park. “It's been going well. The first year of our marriage has been crazy because we've been working on season two of [Everybody Is Doing Great]. It's been a wild ride,” he explained. “It's been tough and challenging, but this is sort of where we thrive. This is how we get closer when we both do what we love together.”
